Terms

Subscriptions to healthcare data and analytics software for businesses: hospital prices, insurer negotiated rates, Medicare and Medicare Advantage, drug and state program data, reached through a web application (Vlada Studio), an API, and a connector for AI tools. We also do custom analysis for business clients, billed by invoice under a written scope.

The data comes from public sources, chiefly files that hospitals, insurers and government agencies are required to publish. It does not include patient records.

Current plans and prices are on the pricing page, in US dollars. A subscription is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, to the card you give our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your card number. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. Access starts as soon as the payment goes through.

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a short period and your access continues during that time. If it still fails, the subscription ends. If we change a price, we tell you by email before your next renewal, and the new price applies only from that renewal.

You can cancel at any time by writing to ben@vladahealth.com. There is no cancellation fee. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.

We do not refund part of a period that has already started. If you were charged in error, or the service did not work as described, write to ben@vladahealth.com within 14 days of the charge and we will fix it or refund it. Refunds go back to the card that was charged. Custom work billed by invoice follows the terms in its written scope.

A subscription lets you and your organization use the service and what it returns in your own work, including work you do for your own clients. You may not resell or republish the data in bulk as a competing dataset, share your login or key outside your organization, or try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service.

Each account has a monthly data allowance, stated on the pricing page. It covers answers and the tables you build from them. A complete dataset is licensed separately, as files. Vlada AI is sold as Vlada credits; credits included with a plan are added each month, and credits you buy do not expire while your account is open.

We work hard to make the data accurate, and every figure carries its source so you can check it. It is still built from files other organizations publish, which contain errors and gaps, and it changes as they update them. It is information, not medical, legal, actuarial or financial advice. Decisions you make with it are yours.

Anything you upload stays yours. We use it only to provide the service to you. How we handle it, and who else touches it, is described on the privacy page. Do not upload protected health information unless we have signed a business associate agreement with you.

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Vlada Health LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.

We may update these terms; when a change matters we will tell you by email before it takes effect. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. If we end an account for any other reason, we refund the unused part of what you have paid. New York law governs these terms. A signed agreement between us and your organization controls wherever it differs from this page.
